Online Help Is Coming...

I am pleased to announce a new feature to the 3twists website that will be arriving over the next couple of weeks, it is a new Online Help system that I have been designing, it will host some rich content and support for the 3twists product line, including lots of How To articles and Tips & Tricks.

Image Viewer 2.5 Is Here!

It has been a while since I have released any updates for 3twists, as I have been busy designing things behind the scenes, several of those things will be announced shortly. But anyway onto Image Viewer, this release (2.5.0) brings several improvements that have been suggested by you the user and include the following:

Added support for Zooming with the Mouse Wheel
Improved and Reorganised UI (No more wasted space)
Image Viewer now opens up in a larger window (Relative to the monitor's output resolution)
The usual bug fixes (Including the resize flicker bug)

The Start Of A New Era... Hello 3twists...

Today the next chapter has begun, with the opening of the new software site 3twists Software. It's taken a while to get everything designed and re-branded to perfection, so here it is, I hope you like it.

Archive: Oliver's Software Name Change

After many months of thought, I have come to the hard decision to move on from Oliver's Software and start afresh, primarily because of the fact that Oliver's Software was initially set up as a means to show family and friends my ever progressing skills in Programing, Web and Graphics Design. But since that idea in 2004, Oliver's Software has grown to see around a couple of thousand people visiting the site every week. Really I feel that the name Oliver's Software reflects too heavily and personally on me, so it would become harder to set up business at a later date.

So what am I moving onto then? I have decided that the best option is to have a name change, something more memorable and unusual, so I came up with a name that fits both of those categories... Introducing... 3twists Software (Three Twists Software). I hope you like it, it won out of several names that I thought up, and also no one had already thought of it, so it was the best all round.

Whats happening to the products (iBoard, Image ReSizer etc...)? They are also moving across to the new name, but in the process will become re-branded and renamed also. I have come to the decision to drop the lowercase "i" from the beginning of iBoard & iDice, in place with the number "3", as it represents the new company name. So iBoard becomes 3Board & iDice becomes 3Dice.

When is this going to happen? I have been working on the new logos and the brand new site for the past month, see below for the new logo. Hopefully everything should start to tie together over the next few days. Please also note that certain parts of the Oliver's Software site will start to go down as of today (23/02/07) , in order to allow me to transition things like the forum across to the new part of the server, also the site will not be accepting anymore downloads of iBoard, iDice, Image ReSizer, Image Viewer & The .Net Detector, as of an hour of this post going out.
